Suzuki Kids Triathlon: 3,000 schoolchildren rock Hamburg City Park

While 1,250 third and fourth graders got off to a strong start yesterday (Thursday), the Suzuki Kids Triathlon 2024 was once again able to impress in terms of sport and organisation with today's second round in Hamburg's Stadtpark.

1,800 children and young people from 42 secondary schools put their all into the individual and relay competitions from 8.30am.

A successful mixture of individual performance, fair play and team spirit was evident in every year group. Cheered on by helpers along the course and enthusiastically celebrated by teachers and carers at the finish line, the atmosphere was literally grandiose and the weather played along for a long time. Only shortly before the end of the event did light rain set in.

The Suzuki Kids Triathlon 2024 thus lived up to its significance as Hamburg's largest school sports event.
