Germany defending champion in the mixed relay

The triathlon weekend in Hamburg will also see the World Championship title being awarded in the mixed relay.

After winning two gold medals in 2023 and 2024 at the same venue and the Olympic victory last year, the German quartet is among the favorites, but will have to fend off strong competition from Australia, France, Great Britain, and New Zealand.

DTU President Prof. Dr. Martin Engelhardt is therefore cautiously optimistic ahead of the race: “We naturally hope that the German quartet will retain the title.”
