Welcome Chicago!

From the season 2014 Chicago will be part of the ITU World Triathlon Series. Last Friday, the International Triathlon Union (ITU) decided to integrate Chicago as a venue in the ITU World Triathlon Series. Previous competition venues in the U.S. have been San Diego and Washington.
In addition to that, the metropolis will be the venue of the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final in 2015, which takes place in London this year. Therefore, the Grand Final occurs in the U.S. for the first time.
