In 2025, the SUZUKI World Triathlon Hamburg powered by HAMBURG WASSER is once again part of the World Triathlon Championship Series. Since 2009, the standard distance world championship titles are no longer awarded at one event but within the framework of the WTCS.

In a total of seven events from February to October, the best triathletes in the world compete for the crown in a points system.

• 15/16 February - WTCS Abu Dhabi, UAE (Sprint Distance & Mixed Relay)
• 17 May - WTCS Yokohama, JPN (Standard Distance)
• 31 May - WTCS to be announced, ITA (Standard Distance)
• 12/13 July - WTCS Hamburg, GER (Sprint Distance & Mixed Relay)
• 14 September - WTCS Karlovy Vary, CZE (Standard Distance)
• 26 September - WTCS Weihai, CHN (Standard Distance)
• 15-19 October - World Triathlon Championship Finals Wollongong, AUS (Standard Distance)
